Tony Bennett is a civil trial attorney with extensive experience in both State and Federal Courts. He attended the University of Florida as a Bright Futures Scholar before obtaining his Juris Doctorate from Nova Southeastern University.  After law school, Bennett worked for the Public Defender’s Office in Orange and Broward Country, where he gained invaluable trial experience in two culturally and demographically distinct jurisdictions. Bennett has served as the first chair in over 50 jury trials in Palm Beach, Martin, St. Lucie, Indian River, Orange, Osceola, and Dade County. He is known for being able to “cut through the fog” and get to the core of the issue to efficiently resolve cases.

“…it is critically important that my generation take charge and help protect the quality of life we enjoy here..” – Tony Bennet

A lifelong North Palm Beach County resident, Bennett has a unique passion for representing members of his community. That passion motivated him to run for the Palm Beach County Commission in 2016.  Over the course of the campaign, Bennett met resident after resident who shared his same concerns about the County’s future: overcrowding, traffic congestion, water management challenges, and the need to preserve green space.  Bennett joined Sustainable Palm Beach County to help develop a new generation of environmentally conscious residents who appreciate and wish to maintain the environmental assets Palm Beach County offers.

“I consider myself extremely fortunate to have grown up in Northern Palm Beach County,” notes Bennett. “Now that I am raising my own children here, it is critically important that my generation take charge and help protect the quality of life we enjoy here.”
