Robert “Bob” Gebbia
Robert “Bob” Gebbia is a retired executive of Siemens Energy, Inc. He moved to North Palm Beach in 2003 and became active in civic affairs. Bob has served as a Councilmember of Village Council of North Palm Beach for eight years. He was first elected in March 2010. He served as President Pro Tem in 2013, as Vice Mayor in 2014 and Mayor in 2015. “Bob always sees ways he can use his considerable professional experience for civic good,” says Karen Marcus, founder Sustainable Palm Beach County. “We are lucky to have him join our board.”
During his tenure on the Village Council, he served on the Palm Beach County League of Cities Board of Directors, Seacoast Utility Authority Governing Board; Lake Worth Lagoon Initiative Board and John D. MacArthur Park Conservation Corps Board of Directors.
Bob holds a bachelor’s of science and master’s of science degrees in Mechanical Engineering from Carnegie-Mellon University and a master’s of business administration from Duquesne University. Bob served six years in the Army Reserve and is President of Support Our Troops USA, Inc.

He is an avid sailor, scuba diver, and kayaker. Bob joined the Board of Sustainable Palm Beach County to preserve and protect the incredible natural resources of Palm Beach County for all future generations to enjoy.
